Mechanical Technician - Long-Term PAYE Contract

Following a recent ramp-up, we're looking for six talented Mechanical Technicians to join our innovative aerospace client in Titchfield. This is a fantastic time to join as the business prepares to move into a brand‑new, purpose-built facility.
These are long-term PAYE contracts running until December 2026, with strong potential for extension.

What You'll Do
- Accurately fit aerospace components using a variety of techniques
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure products meet required specifications
- Deliver high‑quality work efficiently and within budget
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace
- Work independently after training while contributing positively within a team
What We're Looking For
- Previous assembly experience
- Ability to read and follow detailed engineering drawings
- Excellent hand dexterity for precision tasks
- Willingness to learn and adapt
Preferred
- Fuel testing experience
- Aerospace assembly experience
What's on Offer
- 33 days' paid annual leave (or hourly rate included in your pay instead - your choice)
PAYE Contract Rates:
Current Rates:
- Core Days: £17.52ph rising to £18.05ph
- With holiday pay included: £20.07-£20.68ph
NEW Annual Increase - Effective Monday 2nd March:
- £18.13 PAYE (or £20.77 including holiday)
- After 12 weeks: £18.68 PAYE (or £21.40 including holiday)
Overtime:
- After 37 hours and Saturdays: x1.5
- Sundays and bank holidays: x2
⏰ Working Hours
37 hours/week
- Mon-Thurs: 7:30am - 4:15pm
- Fri: 7:30am - 11:30am
