We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with UK Water sector experience. Long-term contract opporuntiy (Outside IR35), hyrbid working with fully remote working can be discussed.
Key responsibilites:
Providing safe, practical and economic designs for clients to a high standard of professional competence and in compliance with Company procedures
Producing drawing office deliverables including but not limited to SLDs, IO & Cable Schedules, P&IDs, Material Take Offs, BCDs, Schematics, Equipment and Cable Routing Layouts
Checking of drawings in accordance with Company Procedures.
Liaising with other disciplines as required.
Technical experience:
Good knowledge of design working practices and installation requirements of the discipline across relevant sector
>10 years engineering experience in the relevant or similar sectors
Proficient in CAD.
Knowledge LV electrical design
Knowledge of UK legislation and standards
