Site Manager (HV Cabling)
Our client, a leading company in the power distribution and energy sector, is currently seeking a Site Manager to join their team. This is a permanent role focused on managing EHV cable projects across the Berkshire / West London region.
If you have an SMSTS, Streetworks Supervisor ticket and have a good knowledge / experience of Utilities Infrastructure (Gas/Water/Telecoms/Highways) we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all aspects of site management for EHV cable projects
- Ensuring compliance with NRSWA and SMSTS regulations
- Managing teams to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget
- Coordinating with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members
- Implementing safety protocols and conducting regular site inspections
- Monitoring and managing the use of resources and equipment
- Providing detailed progress reports and maintaining project documentation
- Resolving any on-site issues and mitigating project risks
Job Requirements:
- SMSTS
- NRSWA Supervisory ticket
- Safe Digging practices / HSG47
- Utilities knowledge (Excavation, Ducting, Laying Utilities, Backfill & Reinstatement)
- Full UK driving licence
- Full right to work in the UK
- HV Power experience for an ICP / DNO (Desirable)
