Our client is seeking experienced Composite Laminators to join a leading team within the automotive sector on a long-term contract until Summer 2026. This role is ideal for skilled laminators with a background in Formula 1, motorsport, or high-end composite manufacturing. You will be working on cutting-edge components in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lay-up of pre-preg carbon fibre components to tight tolerances
- Work from engineering drawings and lay-up manuals
- Trim, bag, and prepare parts for autoclave curing
- Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet exacting standards
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Collaborate with engineers and team leads to meet production targets
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a laminator in F1, motorsport, or aerospace
- Strong understanding of composite materials and lay-up techniques
- Ability to work night shifts and weekend days consistently
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Team player with a proactive and flexible attitude
