Our client, a leading player in the retail sector, is currently seeking an experienced iOS Developer to join their team on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and building advanced applications for the iOS platform
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features
- Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability and general reliability
- Bug fixing and improving application performance
- Continuously discovering, evaluating and implementing new technologies to maximise development efficiency
- Ensuring the performance, quality and responsiveness of applications
- Maintaining code quality, organisation, and automation
- Providing technical support and expertise through the application development lifecycle
Job Requirements:
- Experience in iOS development
- Proficiency with Swift and Objective-C
- Strong understanding of iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation etc.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
- Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
- Understanding of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines
- Experience with performance and memory tuning
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
