Our client, a leading civil engineering contractor, is currently seeking a Senior Planner to join their team. This freelance contract role is based in Rickmansworth and focuses on major utilities and infrastructure projects within the water sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and managing detailed programmes using Primavera P6
- Supporting construction methodology, sequencing, and logistics planning
- Monitoring critical path, milestones, and programme risk
- Producing NEC-compliant change and impact analysis
- Integrating subcontractor programmes and reporting progress
- Attending site and progress meetings as required
Job Requirements:
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6
- Strong knowledge of NEC4 contract guidelines
- Planning experience on large design and build infrastructure projects
- Experience in utilities, water, and pipelines (including MEICA)
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC)
- Experience with site-based projects
Certifications:
- CSCS
- EUSR Blue Card
