Our client, a key player in the Defence & Security sector, is looking for a skilled Chemical Engineer to join their team on a 12-month contract based in Glascoed. Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and optimising chemical processes for defence-related applications
- Conducting detailed analysis and testing to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Implementing safety procedures and protocols to maintain secure operations
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support project goals
- Preparing technical documentation and reports detailing process specifications
- Monitoring and troubleshooting chemical processes to maximise efficiency and safety
- Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies
- Providing technical support and expertise for ongoing and upcoming projects
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in chemical engineering
- Deep understanding of chemical processes and safety protocols
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with regulatory standards within the defence sector
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to prepare detailed technical documentation and reports
- Capability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Relevant degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
