Our client, a leading organisation in the water sector, is currently seeking a Senior Wastewater Modeller for a contract role based in Leeds. This position offers hybrid and flexible working opportunities and is available on a freelance basis (inside IR35) for an initial period of six months. The successful candidate will start as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and calibrating hydrodynamic models for wastewater networks
- Conducting hydraulic analysis and performance assessments of wastewater systems
- Interpreting and analysing data to ensure accurate modelling outcomes
- Working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Providing expert advice on wastewater modelling and related issues
- Producing detailed technical reports and presenting findings to internal and external stakeholders
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of modelling practices and methodologies
Job Requirements:
- Experience in wastewater modelling and hydraulic analysis
- Proficiency with relevant modelling software and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant qualifications in a related field
