Our Client is looking for a Building Control Surveyor to join their team on a contract basis. This role includes hybrid working options and mileage allowance for inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting daily site inspections, averaging 4-6 inspections per day
- Ensuring compliance with Building Safety Regulator guidelines
- Working autonomously on site without supervision
- Providing technical advice and support to clients and stakeholders
- Maintaining accurate records of inspections and reports
- Collaborating with the team and contributing to continuous improvement
- Utilising remote access systems for efficient work management
- Participating in informal Teams interviews and discussions
Job Requirements:
- Experience in building control, ideally within a local authority setting
- Strong understanding of Building Safety Regulator guidelines
- Capability to conduct site inspections independently
- Proficiency in maintaining detailed and accurate records
- Flexibility for hybrid working arrangements
- Registered at registration class 2A or above
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work remotely and utilise remote access technology effectively
