With a reputation for engineering brilliance and high-level safety, they are currently seeking a proactive Mechanical Supervisor to spearhead site operations for a major project in Lisbon.

The Role
As the Mechanical Supervisor, you will be the driving force on the ground. You won't just be overseeing work; you'll be fostering a culture of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Health & Safety Leadership: Promoting a "safety first" culture, leading weekly toolbox talks, and conducting rigorous audits to ensure the highest welfare standards on-site.
Quality Assurance: Carrying out detailed walkdowns and inspections to ensure all mechanical installations align perfectly with drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
Operational Planning: Producing two-week lookahead programmes to keep the project on track and managing labour levels to meet critical milestones.
Cross-Trade Coordination: Liaising with other trades to prevent clashes, managing subcontractor performance, and ensuring a seamless flow of work.
Reporting & Compliance: Providing clear weekly progress reports, managing "snagging" lists, and ensuring all plant and materials are certified, secure, and fit for purpose.
About You
You are a natural leader who understands that a successful project is built on clear communication and meticulous attention to detail. You have the confidence to address issues early and the diplomatic skills to build strong relationships with contractors.
To be successful, you will need:
Experience: At least 5 years of proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor, ideally within a high-stakes environment like data centres or complex industrial plants.
Technical Knowledge: A deep understanding of mechanical systems and a sharp eye for QA/QC documentation.
Leadership Skills: The ability to motivate site teams, manage subcontractors, and keep stakeholders informed.
Proactive Mindset: You are someone who flags risks before they become problems and takes pride in delivering a snag-free handover.
