Our client in the rail industry, is currently seeking a skilled individual for a contract position, specialising in CAD, to join their dynamic team. This role plays a crucial part in supporting the development and execution of their rail electrification projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilising CAD software to create detailed design plans for rail electrification projects
- Collaborating with engineers and other team members to ensure designs meet project specifications and standards
- Updating and modifying existing CAD designs based on project requirements and feedback
- Ensuring all design documentation is accurate and maintained according to company policies
- Providing technical support and expertise throughout the lifecycle of the project
- Participating in project meetings and contributing to overall project planning and problem-solving
Job Requirements:
- Experience in CAD, with a strong portfolio of previous work
- Understanding of rail electrification principles and standards
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and adapt to changing project requirements
