Associate Communications Integration Engineer

The Role

As an Associate Communications Integration Engineer, you will help deliver secure, end-to-end radio solutions in a multi-bearer, mobile environment - from high-level design through to delivery and transition into service.

You will work in a varied, busy environment, contributing to the technical delivery of solutions that move into live operation.

Key Activities

  • Review designs and existing documentation, trace system requirements, validate designs, and produce test documentation

  • Create and run test plans and schedules, contributing to overall test strategy

  • Work with internal teams, customers, and subcontractors to integrate technology into wider systems

  • Identify and resolve technical issues using your own knowledge or by engaging the wider engineering team

  • Produce clear and concise technical documentation appropriate to the project and audience

Essential Experience

  • Engineering background with experience in requirements capture, integration planning, and testing

  • Previous experience in communications within industry or defence environments

  • Familiarity with the operation and integration of equipment within communication systems

  • Ability to work cooperatively within teams and manage tasks with initiative

  • Knowledge of communication systems

  • Ability to work with stakeholders and deliver demonstrations to customers

Essential Qualifications

  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience

Working Pattern

This role is 37 hours per week with hybrid working options available.
