Our client, a leading force in the Defence and Security sector, is currently seeking a Communications Integration Engineer to join their team. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of maritime defence technology at Portsdown Technology Park, Portsmouth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing designs and validating system requirements to produce test documentation.
- Creating and executing test plans and schedules, contributing to test strategy decisions.
- Collaborating with various departments, customers, and subcontractors to integrate technology into broader systems.
- Identifying and resolving technical issues by utilising personal expertise or consulting with colleagues.
- Producing clear and concise project documentation tailored to various stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
- Engineering background with an understanding of requirements capture, integration planning, and testing.
- Experience in communications within industry or the Armed Forces.
- Familiarity with the operation and integration of equipment within communication systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively within teams and exhibit self-motivation.
- Knowledge of communication systems.
- Capability to work with stakeholders and conduct demonstrations for customers.
Qualifications:
- Degree level qualification or equivalent experience.
This role is 37 hours per week and is on-site 5 days per week at Portsdown Technology Park, Portsmouth.
