Role Purpose
We require you to:
*
Undertake general surveys and provide recommendations with regard to Survey Requests generated via the Company Help Desk.
*
Undertake asset verification, condition or dilapidation surveys on buildings and infrastructure assets, surveys of buildings and infrastructure to asset Level 4 in accordance with Asset Physical Condition Grading Methodology (APCGM) (training will be provided)
*
Where required, review statutory compliance documentation pertaining to building regulations and H&S
*
Provide technical reports with regard to an array of asset types, e.g. buildings, infrastructure (inc.) roads, security fences, sports pitches, walls and fences etc.
*
Be able to display a knowledge of and understanding of statutory requirements, current regulations and Approved Codes of Practice with regard to the above
*
To advise and inform the Client with regard to the material state of assets whilst maintaining and promoting best practice and value for money
*
Demonstrate commercial awareness and be able to assess value for money for building/repair work carried out
*
Provide a comprehensive overview of Naval Base assets based on desktop and physical surveys, professional training, knowledge and experience
*
Provide option studies, feasibility studies and cost estimates at the behest of the Client
*
Be a good communicator.
*
Provide technical support to other departments and the Customer
