Senior Suspension Design Engineer
Location: Motorsport Valley (with occasional travel to Europe required)

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Suspension Design Engineer to join a dynamic Formula 1 team at the forefront of motorsport innovation. This is an outstanding opportunity to contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge suspension systems that push the boundaries of performance in the world's most demanding racing series.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design suspension components to meet strict packaging, performance, and regulatory specification constraints
- Create detailed designs of structural, mechanical, and composite parts
- Collaborate closely with aerodynamics, vehicle dynamics, and track engineering teams to optimise suspension performance
- Produce high-quality CAD models, drawings, and technical documentation
- Support the manufacturing, assembly, and testing processes
- Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in suspension technology
What We're Looking For:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Extensive experience in mechanical design, ideally with proven expertise in suspension systems within high-performance motorsport (Formula 1, LMP, or similar)
- Strong proficiency in 3D CAD software (ideally Catia V5/V6)
- Excellent understanding of composite materials, metallic structures, and mechanical systems
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, innovative mindset
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe as required
