Our client, a leader in the civil engineering sector, is currently seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor on a contract basis to join their team working on high-volume, lower-value projects at Manchester Airport.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the delivery of high-volume, lower-value works typically up to £3-4m
- Administering NEC contracts from start to finish
- Drafting, managing, and running tenders
- Managing contract processes end-to-end
- Working within a complex stakeholder environment
- Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports
- Ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
- Liaising with clients and subcontractors as necessary
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Experience in quantity surveying, particularly within the context of high-volume, lower-value projects
- Hands-on experience with NEC contract administration
- Proficiency in drafting and managing tenders
- Ability to manage end-to-end contract processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Airport/aviation experience desirable
