Our client, a leader in the civil engineering industry, is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This is an exciting contract opportunity to support high-volume, lower-value works (typically up to £3-4m) across Stansted Airport. If you have a degree in Quantity Surveying and experience administering NEC contracts, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administering NEC contracts, managing processes end-to-end
- Drafting, managing, and running tenders
- Managing high-volume, lower-value projects within complex stakeholder environments
- Collaborating with project teams to ensure efficient delivery of works
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and procedures
- Conducting cost analyses and assessments
- Preparing and reviewing detailed reports and documentation
- Maintaining robust relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying
- Experience in administering NEC contracts
- Hands-on experience in drafting and running tenders
- Understanding of high-volume, lower-value project management
- Experience within the airport/aviation sector is desirable
- Ability to work full-time on-site initially, transitioning to a hybrid working pattern
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Proficiency in cost analysis and reporting
