We are seeking a highly motivated Field Service Engineer to join our passionate team and work hands-on with cutting‑edge technologies at the forefront of life science innovation. As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting our customers and collaborating closely with our development teams to ensure our advanced systems deliver maximum value.
Key Responsibilities
Install and configure a range of precision life science instrumentation.
Perform routine preventative maintenance and on‑site customer repairs.
Troubleshoot and diagnose complex system issues.
Implement system updates and optimise performance for reliability and efficiency.
Provide technical assistance both on‑site and remotely.
Act as a technical liaison between customers and internal teams.
Prepare technical quotations and detailed service reports.
Maintain accurate documentation in line with ISO accreditation requirements.
Your Profile
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, electronic or biomedical preferred) or equivalent qualification.
3+ years of experience in a related field or in‑house service role.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a proactive, solution‑driven mindset.
Experience in a customer‑facing role is an advantage.
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal abilities.
High level of flexibility, independence and willingness to travel up to 60%.
Fluent English; additional European languages are beneficial.
UK driver's licence and access to a car.
