Lead the electrical delivery of Europe's most ambitious hyperscale data centre developments.

Our client is a premier Project Management Consultancy (PMC) delivering some of the largest and most technically advanced hyperscale data centre programmes across Europe. With multiple multi‑hundred‑megawatt and gigawatt‑scale developments underway in Helsinki, we are seeking an exceptional Electrical Lead to join the leadership team responsible for shaping Finland's next generation of digital infrastructure.

The Role

As Electrical Lead, you will serve as the senior technical authority for all electrical systems across hyperscale data centre construction programmes in Helsinki. You will steer design development, oversee installation delivery, maintain quality and compliance, and partner closely with contractors, consultants, and commissioning teams to ensure flawless execution on mega‑scale projects (150MW, 250MW, 1GW).

Operating from a client‑side PMC perspective, you will be central to achieving best‑in‑class performance, safety, and reliability across mission‑critical power systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full electrical delivery scope across multi‑MW and GW‑scale data centre projects.
• Oversee HV/LV distribution, UPS systems, generators, redundancy architectures, and all critical power infrastructure.
• Drive technical assurance, ensuring installation quality meets global hyperscale client standards.
• Direct contractor performance, resolving technical challenges and maintaining schedule discipline.
• Run design reviews, interface workshops, commissioning readiness sessions, and quality inspections.
• Ensure seamless coordination with mechanical, structural, ICT and commissioning teams.
• Identify risks early and drive mitigation strategies across design, construction and commissioning.
• Represent the client in all electrical‑related decision‑making, governance and reporting.

About You

• Proven experience delivering electrical packages on hyperscale, mission‑critical, or large‑scale industrial projects.
• Deep technical expertise in high‑capacity power systems (HV/LV, UPS, generators, switchgear, protection).
• Strong leadership and stakeholder‑management skills, ideally with client‑side or PMC experience.
• Demonstrated success driving major projects through design, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Engineering degree (Electrical or related discipline) or equivalent senior professional background.
• Experience working in Northern Europe or Nordic markets is advantageous but not essential.
