Our client, a key player in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking a Quality Engineer for a 12-month contract based in Glascoed. This role is integral to maintaining high standards within the Land Sector of the UK defence industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations
  • Developing and implementing quality control procedures
  • Conducting inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborating with engineering teams to ensure product quality
  • Analysing quality data and preparing detailed reports
  • Managing non-conformance reports and implementing corrective actions
  • Providing training and support on quality-related matters
  • Maintaining documentation and records in accordance with quality management standards

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in quality engineering within the Defence & Security sector
  • Strong understanding of quality control processes and standards
  • Proficiency in conducting inspections, audits, and quality assessments
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
  • Relevant qualification in engineering or a related discipline
