Our client, a key player in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking a Quality Engineer for a 12-month contract based in Glascoed. This role is integral to maintaining high standards within the Land Sector of the UK defence industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations
- Developing and implementing quality control procedures
- Conducting inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborating with engineering teams to ensure product quality
- Analysing quality data and preparing detailed reports
- Managing non-conformance reports and implementing corrective actions
- Providing training and support on quality-related matters
- Maintaining documentation and records in accordance with quality management standards
Job Requirements:
- Experience in quality engineering within the Defence & Security sector
- Strong understanding of quality control processes and standards
- Proficiency in conducting inspections, audits, and quality assessments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
- Relevant qualification in engineering or a related discipline
