I'm seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to join our expert engineering team in Dorset. In this role, you will contribute to the design, analysis, and maintenance of analogue, digital, and computer‑based safety systems-playing a vital part in ensuring the reliability and integrity of systems used in a highly regulated environment.


What You'll Be Doing

As a key technical contributor, you will:

  • Produce and peer‑review technical reports, drawings, and designs to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance with standards.
  • Lead technically within specialist areas, supporting both the team and wider business.
  • Engage with customers to define and optimise engineering solutions across cost, timescale, and implementation.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of existing electronic systems for upgrades and refurbishment.
  • Support project managers and liaise with suppliers on third‑party equipment.
  • Occasionally support installation and commissioning activities on customer sites.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and modernisation.

What You Bring

We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • Sole British Nationality (required for security compliance).
  • Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
  • Hands‑on experience in analogue instrumentation front‑end design, including noise, temperature effects, cabling, and modelling.
  • Experience with major digital electronics families and device categories.
  • Systems engineering experience with full electronic assemblies, PCB integration, thermal considerations, and reliability engineering.
  • Familiarity with modern instrumentation, e.g., digital mixed‑mode oscilloscopes and programmable test equipment.
  • Experience with schematic design, PCB layout, and mixed‑mode simulation (e.g., Altium).
