Our client is a leading construction specialist delivering complex projects within mission‑critical environments, with a particular focus on Hyperscale Data Centres across the UK and Europe. Their portfolio also includes Life Sciences, Aviation, High‑Value Manufacturing, and Critical Logistics-but Data Centres are at the core of their rapid growth.
They are now seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (HSE) Advisor to support high‑performing project teams on major Data Centre builds in London Docklands.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion and implement the company's EHS policies across fast‑paced Data Centre construction environments
- Provide expert guidance on all health, safety, and environmental matters to project teams and subcontractors
- Draft, review, and maintain robust EHS documentation tailored to high‑tech, high‑risk facilities
- Conduct EHS site inspections, compliance audits, and produce detailed reports
- Carry out risk assessments and ensure all incidents, near-misses, and accidents are thoroughly investigated
- Identify training needs and deliver targeted EHS training on Data Centre‑specific risks and protocols
- Drive subcontractor compliance and promote a culture of safety excellence across all project phases
Job Requirements
- Third-level qualification in EHS or a related discipline
- Experience working on large‑scale commercial or high‑tech construction projects-Data Centres strongly preferred
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple project demands simultaneously
- Conscientious, detail‑driven, and committed to maintaining the highest safety standards
- Self‑starter with the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels
- Full, clean driving licence (advantageous)
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
