Our client is currently seeking a Senior Test Solutions Engineer for a contract position within the Defence & Security sector.
Your role will be integral to developing test equipment for leading-edge defence and aerospace projects in the UK, such as the Eurofighter Typhoon jet. You will be a key contributor to the creation and delivery of technical solutions within defined work packages, ensuring they meet all stakeholder requirements. This role involves establishing and maturing stakeholder needs, prioritising and trading-off requirements to optimise capability solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure architecture alignment with other programme elements
- Ensure the application of appropriate tools and techniques for test equipment design, providing expert advice
- Resolve emerging issues by proposing and driving through solutions, escalating complex risks as necessary
- Develop, coach, mentor, and upskill other engineers in a wider application of engineering
- Capture and analyse stakeholder needs to guide the development of solutions for future operational environments
Job Requirements:
- Experience as an Electronics Design Engineer at a senior level
- Proven expertise in technical solution development within a multi-disciplinary team
- Industry experience in the full design lifecycle
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and adapt to changing demands
