Our client, a prominent player in the Defence and Security sector, is seeking experienced Maintenance Support Engineers to join their Maritime Services business unit on a 12-month contract. This opportunity is based in Scotstoun, Portsmouth, with hybrid working arrangements allowing 1-2 days per week ron site.
Role:
- Applies understanding of a range of ILS processes, tools, systems and techniques, and applies these to the review and analysis of supplier data, components or systems. Understands and develops solutions to common or well-articulated ILS Support situations, problems and issues.
- Reviewing maintenance / supplier / internal generated maintenance data.
- Supporting and training, spares analysis, coaching and mentoring will be provided if required.
- Conducting analysis of tools and test equipment required to support maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) solutions for maritime defence projects
- Performing detailed ILS analysis and documentation
- Ensuring compliance with relevant defence standards and regulations
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate ILS processes
- Supporting the development of maintenance and support plans
- Contributing to the optimisation of supportability and lifecycle costs
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies
