Highways Licensing Officer
Our client's highway network is one of the busiest, most complex, and most high-profile in the country. Our client is looking for a committed and reliable Licensing Officer to help manage third-party works taking place across the area. If you have significant experience in highways licensing and a keen eye for detail, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.
Job Summary
This is a contract role based in central London. The contract duration is initially 3 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing licences for third-party works on the highway network.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and guidelines.
- Coordinating with various stakeholders including contractors and utility companies.
- Conducting site inspections and assessments as required.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Providing guidance and support to applicants regarding licensing processes.
- Responding to public and stakeholder enquiries in a timely manner.
