Job Title: M&E Engineer

Matchtech are seeking an experienced M&E Engineer for one of our clients to support the delivery of a Maintenance Contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Maintenance Manager in the day-to-day delivery.
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities
- Plan and coordinate quarterly closures, including allocation of resources.
- Manage and supervise agencies and subcontractors.
- Arrange plant, equipment, access, and site logistics to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide technical input and support for electrical maintenance
- Coordinate and support the execution of works on site.
- Assist with maintenance planning, work scheduling, reporting, and documentation.
- Contribute to safe systems of work, including risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
- Develop management capability over time through coaching and increased responsibility.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Significant experience working on electrical or mechanical contracts
- Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent is highly regarded.
- Electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC/HND) are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong planning, coordination, and organisational skills.
- Confident working with multiple contractors and internal teams.
- Competent in Microsoft Excel and general office software.
