Senior Project Manager


Our client, a leading company in the Power DNO & ICP sector, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager specialising in substation projects to join their team in the Greater London region and South. This individual will play a crucial role in managing projects ranging from 11kV to 132kV within the Non-Regulated / Private Networks department.

The company are delivering both DNO and ICP which is Industrial and renewable energy developments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing substation projects from inception to completion
  • Ensuring adherence to NEC Contracts 3/4 throughout project life cycles
  • Ms Projects experience and the ability to plan and coordinate projects
  • Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery
  • Overseeing project planning, scheduling and resource allocation using MS Projects
  • Implementing risk management strategies to mitigate potential project delays and issues
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards
  • Providing technical guidance and support related to 11kV to 132kV power distribution projects
  • Maintaining high levels of client satisfaction through effective communication and project management

Job Requirements:

  • Electrical or Civil Engineering background
  • Comprehensive knowledge of voltage levels ranging from 11kV to 132kV
  • Strong understanding of NEC Contracts 3/4
  • Proficiency with MS Projects for project planning and management
  • Degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering (desirable but not essential)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively within the Greater London and Southern regions
