Our client is seeking experienced Registered Building Inspectors to join their growing team, with opportunities available across the UK. As a Registered Building Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring buildings are safe, compliant and delivered to the highest standards. You will work across a diverse range of projects, supporting clients from design stage through to completion, and providing professional, practical advice throughout the construction process.
The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a professional and customer-focused Registered Building Control service. You will manage your own workload, undertake plan checking and site inspections, and work closely with clients, architects, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with the Building Regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a professional Registered Building Control service to clients
- Manage and prioritise your own project workload effectively
- Review and check plans for compliance with Building Regulations
- Carry out site inspections to ensure works are constructed in accordance with approved plans and regulations
- Provide advice on Building Regulations, fire safety and general compliance matters
- Assist with customer queries in a clear, professional and solutions-focused manner
- Advise on fee quotes and support project delivery from inception to completion
- Maintain and achieve the appropriate Class and Sub-Class of Registered Building Inspector
- Undertake all duties in line with quality procedures, technical guidance and the Registered Building Inspector Code of Conduct
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Building Control professional with a proactive and positive approach to your work.
You will have:
- Registration as a Building Inspector (Class 2D-F or Class 3G)
- Significant experience working within Building Control
- Strong knowledge of Building Regulations, fire safety and construction methods
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking skills
- A professional, customer-focused attitude
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good IT and computer skills
- The determination to deliver high standards of compliance and service
- A full UK driving licence
