Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience of working on major rail programme required for a long term contract opportunity in London.
This position will see you work in an alliance environment where you will be supporting a major rail systems programme. You will focus on cost management and commercial delivery across various packages within the rail industry, ensuring robust cost control, change management, and contract compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct cost forecasting and prepare monthly reports
- Manage valuations, variations, and subcontract agreements
- Produce detailed bills of quantities and verify costs
- Provide support for dispute resolution and commercial risk management
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience in quantity surveying, particularly within the rail sector
- Strong understanding of cost control and change management processes
- Proficiency in contract compliance and commercial delivery
- Excellent skills in cost forecasting and budget management
- Ability to manage valuations, variations, and subcontracts effectively
- Experience in preparing and verifying bills of quantities
- Proven track record in supporting dispute resolution and managing commercial risk
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in quantity surveying or a related field
