What You'll Need

  • Experience as an electrician within an industrial or commercial environment (ideal for those looking to grow their industrial exposure).
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
  • Strong hands-on skills in electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs.
  • Good understanding of safe working practices and adherence to health & safety standards.
  • Computer literacy for reporting and documentation.

Useful Additional Skills (Not Essential)

  • City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent Inspection & Testing qualification.
  • Experience with three-phase motors and control systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Background in Facilities Management or multi‑disciplinary site work.
  • Certifications such as IPAF, PASMA, manual handling, working at height, asbestos awareness.
