- Managing new construction and concrete works on highways projects.
- Performing testing requirements to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Managing contractor quality and assurance throughout the project's duration.
- Collaborating closely with contractors, including Balfours, to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Ensuring adherence to Health & Safety protocols on-site.
- Providing regular project updates to internal and external stakeholders, including Highways Scotland.
- Working on-site compound located in Invereen, with responsibilities extending over a nine-mile stretch of the dualling scheme.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in managing new construction and concrete works on highways projects.
- Understanding of quality assurance and testing procedures in a construction environment.
- Familiarity with NEC contracts and supervisory requirements.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with contractors and project stakeholders.
- Proficiency in managing projects in a highways context.
