Our client in the Defence & Security sector is seeking a Product Delivery Manager (Systems of System) to join on a contract basis. This role involves overseeing and delivering the digital engineering capabilities for complex systems integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and deliver the System of Systems (SoS) digital engineering capability, including architecture modelling (UAF/DoDAF), interface management, operational analysis, and Digital Thread integrations.
- Build and manage the toolchain, environments, governance, and reference architectures that enable enterprise-level multi-system integration and traceability.
- Create and run an enterprise SoS modelling capability ensuring all systems interoperate through authoritative architecture models.
- Translate SoS engineering needs into a roadmap, manage vendors/suppliers, and achieve end-to-end traceability including capability → architecture → interfaces → simulation → test evidence.
- Drive adoption, enforce governance, and align multiple teams and partners around consistent SoS modelling standards.
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience in Systems Engineering within the Defence & Security sector.
- Expertise in architecture modelling using frameworks such as UAF/DoDAF.
- Proficiency in managing toolchains, environments, and reference architectures to support multi-system integration.
- Strong skills in operational analysis and Digital Thread integrations.
- Proven ability to manage vendors and suppliers effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to drive change and governance.
- BPSS to start, SC required.
