Our consultancy client is seeking Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to support various Water Frameworks across London and the South East.

Base office locations include Snodland, Epsom, London generally, Peterborough and the Midlands.

You will join our clients' P3M team delivering water infrastructure and non‑infrastructure projects across some of the industry's most important and high‑profile environmental programmes. Bring your project leadership and commercial acumen to an organisation that has significantly increased revenues in recent years.

Our client holds long‑term contracts across the broader UK infrastructure and utilities sector, working with clients including major water companies, energy providers, defence, airports, rail and highways organisations.

Their growth is built on high‑quality service, deep technical expertise, and the capability of people. Due to continued expansion and ongoing framework success, they are looking for NEC3 and NEC4 accredited or experienced Project Managers to support the delivery of client water projects.

The role/responsibilities

  • Provide high‑quality project and programme management across the full project lifecycle.
  • Advise clients on project cost, programme, risks and issues.
  • Lead and manage multi‑disciplinary professional teams.
  • Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Produce monthly reports including schedules, risk registers and progress updates.
  • Implement effective communication and project management tools.
  • Develop delivery plans, engage key stakeholders, and ensure objectives are achieved.
  • Challenge the status quo and perform effectively in dynamic environments.
  • Drive continuous performance improvement.

Skills/experience/qualifications

  • Water sector experience is essential
  • Project Management qualification (APM, RICS or equivalent).
  • Strong experience with NEC3/NEC4 contracts, ideally as the named Project Manager.
  • NEC Accredited Project Manager desirable.
  • Practitioner‑level experience within the NEC Competency Framework.
  • Experience delivering engineering or construction projects within water infrastructure and/or non‑infrastructure (clean water/wastewater) programmes.
  • Proven ability to lead and coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams.
  • Understanding of best‑practice project management methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of pre‑ and post‑contract project management responsibilities.
  • Awareness of CDM regulations and site Health & Safety.
  • Capable of managing projects throughout the full lifecycle.
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
