Our client, is currently seeking a Senior CAD Technician to join their team on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the delivery of busway infrastructure, LTN 1/20 cycle measures, active travel, signal junctions, roundabouts, and environmental enhancements.
- Producing drawings for studies, consultations, and contract documents with minimal direction.
- Working on projects from outline feasibility through to main design and implementation, ensuring outputs meet the latest standards and planning requirements.
- Detailing highways and utility 2D AutoCAD, including keys signs, key lines, and tracking.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in highways and utility 2D AutoCAD detailing.
- Ability to produce drawings for studies, consultations, and contract documents independently.
- Desirable skills include BIM, producing drawings for non-highway sectors such as landscaping, street lighting, and structures.
- Experience with 3D design software such as MX or Civil 3D is advantageous.
- Driving licence required (category B).
Additional Information:
- Contract role with up to 37 hours per week.
- Hybrid working arrangements: 2 days per week in the office.
- Planned start date: 09-03-2026 (subject to change).
- No DBS required for this role.
