Our client, a key player in the defence and security sectors, is seeking a Project Engineering Scrum Master to join their team. This role is critical in delivering complex projects within the aerospace industry, supporting project teams through agile practices and ensuring seamless coordination of engineering efforts. You will work in a hybrid setup, with part-time on-site presence at Warton, and play a vital part in advancing innovative defence solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitating agile ceremonies and practices within project teams to enhance delivery efficiency
- Acting as a liaison between engineering, project management, and stakeholders to ensure smooth communication
- Monitoring sprint progress and removing impediments to maintain momentum
- Supporting teams in adopting agile principles aligned with defence industry standards
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver project milestones on time and within scope
- Maintaining project documentation and reporting on sprint and project progress
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience as a Scrum Master or in agile project environments
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Experience in defence or security industry sectors is highly desirable
Additional Details:
This contract is expected to last nine months, with hybrid working arrangements consisting of two days per week in the office-Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to exciting defence projects supporting national security.
