Our client, a prominent organisation within the Defence & Security sector, is looking for motivated Project Controllers to join their expanding Project Control team. Key Responsibilities:
- Validate project assessments, identify risks and issues, and facilitate discussions to keep projects on track.
- Steer the validation of project-level schedules to ensure accuracy and coherence, aligning with programme planning principles.
- Lead the generation and maintenance of integrated baseline schedules to support successful project delivery.
- Validate project costs and forecasts, supporting the development of estimates at completion (EAC).
- Manage schedule risk analysis, leading all associated activities across projects where appropriate.
- Actively participate in bid team activities, ensuring project management fundamentals are correctly applied.
What we're looking for from you:
- Experience in project coordination, from detailed planning to milestone delivery on a larger scale.
- Knowledge of project management software tools such as Primavera, SAP, and Oracle Unifier.
- Understanding of project controls, including baseline management, change control, and project data integrity.
- Ability to perform schedule, resource, and cost analysis, including critical path and schedule risk analysis (SRA).
- Experience in generating and analysing project performance data.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage conflicting demands effectively.
