Our client, a leading consultancy in the geotechnical field, is currently seeking a Senior Site Engineer to join their team. This role offers a permanent opportunity to play a significant part in a company dedicated to high-quality site investigation services and data.

Key Responsibilities:


As a Senior Site Engineer, you will:

  • Manage projects from initial planning through to fieldwork, laboratory testing and reporting
  • Conduct thorough research, investigation, testing, monitoring, reporting and evaluation to aid in understanding site-specific engineering behaviour
  • Undertake site investigations related to soil, rock, groundwater and man-made materials
  • Ensure adherence to all health and safety requirements with the necessary training support provided
  • Develop skills across all aspects of ground investigation, including report writing, project planning and commercial understanding
  • Work towards clear progression goals designed to align with the training scheme and pathways towards chartership

Job Requirements:


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in site/ground investigation or a relevant field such as Earth or Environmental Science, Geology, Geography, Civil Engineering or similar
  • Relevant qualifications
  • Enthusiasm and a keen interest in learning
  • Ability to integrate with and enhance an existing strong team
  • A full UK driving licence
