Our client, a leading consultancy in the geotechnical field, is currently seeking a Senior Site Engineer to join their team. This role offers a permanent opportunity to play a significant part in a company dedicated to high-quality site investigation services and data.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Site Engineer, you will:
- Manage projects from initial planning through to fieldwork, laboratory testing and reporting
- Conduct thorough research, investigation, testing, monitoring, reporting and evaluation to aid in understanding site-specific engineering behaviour
- Undertake site investigations related to soil, rock, groundwater and man-made materials
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety requirements with the necessary training support provided
- Develop skills across all aspects of ground investigation, including report writing, project planning and commercial understanding
- Work towards clear progression goals designed to align with the training scheme and pathways towards chartership
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in site/ground investigation or a relevant field such as Earth or Environmental Science, Geology, Geography, Civil Engineering or similar
- Relevant qualifications
- Enthusiasm and a keen interest in learning
- Ability to integrate with and enhance an existing strong team
- A full UK driving licence
