Our client, a leading consultancy in the water sector, is currently seeking a Lead Civil Design Engineer to join their team in Bristol on a long-term contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage civil engineering design packages
- Provide technical oversight and quality assurance
- Mentor and guide junior and graduate engineers
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary internal teams
- Support project delivery across AMP8 frameworks
Job Requirements:
- Strong background in civil design engineering
- Experience in wastewater or water treatment works preferred
- Strong infrastructure engineers with relevant transferrable skills will be considered
- Demonstrable experience mentoring or leading teams
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of design work
- Comfortable with hybrid working, with some Bristol office presence required for team support
Project Pipeline:
- Significant involvement in Wessex Water and Thames Water AMP8 projects
- Long-term secured workload with opportunities for extension
