We are urgently seeking an experienced Purchasing Administrator to support a busy buying and procurement team on a short‑term basis. This role is critical to helping meet immediate production targets and would suit someone who can hit the ground running in a fast‑paced engineering or manufacturing environment.

What You'll Be Doing
You'll play a key part in keeping production on track by supporting core purchasing and administrative tasks, including:
- Retrieving Bill of Materials (BoM) data and flagging any discrepancies
- Raising basic RFQs and Purchase Orders within the MRP system
- Chasing supplier lead times and following up on catalogue purchases
- Reconciling and organising invoices from previous orders
- Supporting online store purchasing and basket setup
- Conducting basic stock checks and capturing data within the Stores function
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, MS Teams, Outlook)
- 3+ years' experience in a purchasing administration role
- Understanding of RFQs, POs and invoice processes
- Confident communicator with strong organisational skill
- On‑site presence in Fareham at least three days per week is essential to ensure familiarity with the product and processes.
- This is a short‑term contract supporting immediate production needs, with an ASAP start.
