We are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join a major construction programme in Dublin. This is a 6‑month+ contract role, offering the opportunity to play a key part in delivering critical electrical infrastructure on a large scale project.
The Role
As the Electrical Construction Manager, you will lead the planning, coordination, installation, and commissioning of all electrical systems on site. You will ensure all works are executed safely, to specification, and aligned with project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee electrical system installation in line with project specifications, standards, and Irish regulations.
- Manage electrical subcontractors and daily site activities to maintain progress.
- Conduct inspections and ensure high quality electrical installation throughout all phases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical engineering challenges affecting cost or schedule.
- Ensure seamless integration between electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems.
- Prepare progress reports, technical documents and contribute to project meetings.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
- 5+ years' experience delivering electrical packages on major construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, commissioning processes, and QA/QC.
- Experience with Irish/EU construction regulations is preferred.
- Excellent subcontractor management and communication skills.
- Must be available for full time, onsite contract work in Dublin.
