  • Location: Dublin (onsite)
  • Engagement: Contract / daily‑rate

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to join a major construction programme in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to support the delivery of complex mechanical systems on a large‑scale project.
The Role
You will oversee the installation, coordination, and commissioning of all mechanical systems; including HVAC, hydronics and mechanical plant; ensuring delivery aligns with technical standards, safety requirements, and project milestones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise the installation of mechanical systems (HVAC, plant, hydronics).
  • Ensure all mechanical works meet performance requirements, specifications and Irish building standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, civil and structural teams to resolve design or installation clashes.
  • Manage mechanical subcontractors and oversee daily field operations.
  • Lead testing, commissioning, and final handover of mechanical systems.
  • Resolve mechanical engineering issues promptly to maintain schedule and quality.


Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years' experience managing mechanical packages on major build projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and commissioning processes.
  • Experience with Irish building/mechanical standards is advantageous.
  • Excellent planning, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
  • Available for an on site contract role in Dublin.
