Manufacturing Technician
Initial 6‑month contract (extension possible based on performance)

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Technician to join our production team. You will play a key role in supporting electronic, mechanical, or systems-based manufacturing activities, ensuring high-quality output through hands-on technical work, testing, troubleshooting, and process control.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical, technical work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is confident working with tools, assemblies, and production documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out technical tasks across assigned functional areas (electronic, mechanical, or systems).
  • Perform tests, measurements, and process controls to support production and project requirements.
  • Work from job packets, routings, work orders, wire lists, quality travellers, and bills of material.
  • Maintain and operate production tools, equipment, and automated machinery.
  • Troubleshoot product, process, or programme issues and carry out effective repairs.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Identify components and perform wire preparation, stripping, crimping, harness repair, and termination.
  • Use a range of manual hand tools and maintain capability across electronics, hydraulics, mechanical assemblies, and machine operation.
  • Apply continuous improvement principles to enhance quality, efficiency, and workflow.


Experience & Exposure

  • Working within a technology or manufacturing centre
  • Understanding of production workflows
  • Supporting technical investigations
  • Production testing and diagnostics
  • Assembly of production components and systems
