Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain general ledger to trial balance and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
- Manage banking, including payments and bank reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including credit control.
- Manage weekly and monthly payroll processes.
- Support external audits, ensuring timely delivery of audit requirements.
- Analyse and report on trends (sales, margin and overheads).
- Monthly reporting and budgeting.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.
- Manage Inward Processing Relief process and reporting.
Skills & Experience:
- Accountancy qualification (AAT minimum).
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in accounting and payroll software.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
