As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll work across the full lifecycle-concept, design, analysis, prototyping, testing, and production-creating lightweight, robust, and manufacturable aircraft structures and mechanisms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for primary structures, mechanisms, and payload integration.
- Develop mechanical systems such as landing gear, control surfaces, and cargo interfaces.
- Conduct preliminary structural and kinematic analyses.
- Support prototype builds, ground and flight tests, and implement design improvements.
- Work cross‑functionally with systems, propulsion, avionics, software, and manufacturing teams.
- Produce manufacturing drawings, BOMs and resolve technical queries with suppliers.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in mechanical design, preferably in aerospace or UAVs.
- Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, SolidWorks PDM).
- Experience designing lightweight structural assemblies in a relevant sector.
- Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes relevant to lightweight structures.
