Electronics Manufacturing Specialist

A High Technology Engineering Consultancy is expanding and looking for an Electronics Manufacturing Specialist to strengthen and grow its manufacturing capability. What You'll Do
- Provide DfMA support across complex electronic PCB assemblies and mechanical housings
- Lead prototype builds and manage transition into low‑to‑mid volume production
- Manage UK and international supply chains and contract manufacturers
- Support bids, proposals and commercial project delivery
- Help shape the manufacturing strategy and introduce best‑practice processes
- Work closely with engineers, project managers and quality teams
This role includes UK and international travel to clients and manufacturing partners.
What You Bring
- Strong electronics manufacturing background (SMT, complex RF products ideal)
- Experience working within an engineering consultancy
- Full product development lifecycle exposure
- Confident communicator, able to engage from technicians to executives
- Strong mechanical/electronic understanding and problem‑solving ability
- Advantageous but not essential:
- Existing global supply chain network
- Experience in space‑sector manufacturing (ESA/ECSS)
