We are partnering with a global defence and technology leader to recruit an Engineering Delivery Manager for high‑profile avionics computing programme based in East Sussex. This is a key role within a fast‑growing organisation that is experiencing significant success and long‑term demand across its portfolio.
In this position, you will take ownership of the engineering development and delivery for a complex, multi‑disciplinary programme deployed across a broad range of aircraft platforms. You will guide engineering activities across hardware, software, firmware and systems disciplines, ensuring technical excellence and on‑time delivery for critical defence customers.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as an Engineering Delivery Manager, Project Lead Engineer or similar role, leading multi‑discipline engineering teams spanning Systems, Hardware and Software.
- Strong track record of delivering technically complex engineering projects.
- Background in defence, aerospace or other complex engineering environments.
- Professional registration (Chartered Engineer) is desirable, but not essential. The organisation actively supports engineers working towards chartership.
- Experience or aptitude for line management. You will oversee a small team of engineers and support their development.
