Role Overview
The Class 2A Building Inspector role offers the opportunity to join a highly respected, people‑focused organisation recognised for exceptional employee satisfaction, strong technical development, and clear progression pathways. You will provide professional building inspection services across Kent, South Essex and parts of East London, ensuring compliance, safety, and high‑quality service delivery.
This position combines field autonomy with structured support from our dedicated Technical Training Manager, based in the Faversham office. Key Responsibilities
- Carry out building inspections in line with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Produce accurate, timely reports and maintain clear documentation.
- Provide technical advice and guidance to clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Manage your own workload effectively across the Kent and South Essex region.
- Maintain strong professional relationships through excellent communication and service delivery.
- Participate in ongoing training, CPD, and internal development programmes.
- Uphold health & safety, compliance, and quality assurance standards.
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience in building control, construction, surveying, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of building regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Confident communicator with strong customer‑facing skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and progression.
