Our client is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to join their team. This permanent position reports directly to the Finance Director and works closely with the Operations Business Partner UK and Operations Business Partner Europe. The role focuses on UK and European commercial reporting, including customer sales and gross margin reporting, weekly financial analysis, and ad hoc scenario planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for UK and European Business Central customer and product gross margin analysis
- Ensure new customers and changes to customer terms are accurately reflected in Business Central gross margin reporting
- Support the Commercial team in weekly meetings, including customer pricing reviews against budget and forecast
- Follow up on weekly UK and European aged Trade Debtors reports
- Create scenario‑planning tools to support new business opportunities and procurement requirements
- Provide ad hoc commercial reporting as needed
- Support the Commercial Director and wider team with accurate data and robust scenario planning
- Champion gross margin reporting across the business, by both customer and product
Job Requirements
- Relevant finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Proven success in a Commercial Finance role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Business Central or similar finance systems
- Strong commercial acumen
- Collaborative working style with cross‑functional experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to present data clearly
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel
