Our client, a leading player in the water sector, is currently seeking a MEICA Lead to join their team on a contract basis (INSIDE IR35 Only).

This role involves working on multiple Thames Water AMP8 projects across the south west side of the framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the delivery of MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation) projects in alignment with Thames Water AMP8 objectives
  • Overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical, electrical, and process engineering tasks
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project requirements
  • Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions
  • Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues
  • Providing technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle
  • Maintaining effective communication with stakeholders to ensure project success

Job Requirements:

  • Strong background in MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation)
  • Experience in the water sector, particularly with Thames Water projects
  • Proficient in process, mechanical, and electrical engineering
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple sites
  • Thorough understanding of IR35 and its implications for contract work
  • Strong leadership and team coordination abilities
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience
