Our client, a leading technology firm, is currently seeking an EPIC Delivery Lead for an exciting contract position. As the L6 lead, your role focuses on ensuring the project meets its institutional promises, providing governance that allows delivery teams to work effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overarching Governance: Establishing and chairing the project steering committee, ensuring the migration adheres to organisational standards and regulatory compliance
- Stakeholder Management: Serving as the primary point of contact for C-suite executives and clinical leadership, managing expectations and securing buy-in
- Financial & Resource Oversight: Managing the macro-budget for the migration and ensuring high-level resource allocation across various workstreams
- Strategic Risk Mitigation: Identifying long-term risks (e.g., scope creep, vendor delays) and developing high-level contingency plans
- Final Escalation Point: Acting as the ultimate decision-maker for critical path conflicts that cannot be resolved at the delivery manager level
Job Requirements:
- Experience as a Delivery Manager or in a similar role within the technology sector
- Strong understanding of governance frameworks and regulatory compliance
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, particularly with C-suite executives
- Proven experience in managing large-scale project budgets and resource allocation
- Ability to identify and mitigate long-term risks and develop contingency plans
- Strong decision-making skills in high-pressure situations
